Tantric Heart Breath MEDITATION

Tantric Opening Breath...

  • Center yourself. Focus on what creates a feeling of love in your heart.
  • Breath into your heart. (the breath is small and comfortable)
  • Retain the breath in your heart to feed and nourish the love.(hold the breath tenderly as long as is comfortable)
  • Release most of the breath retaining 10-20%.(remain focused on the love in your heart)
  • Take another breath follow it down to your dan tien taking the love breath in your heart (the 10-20% you kept in your heart) with it.
  • Swallow to release tension in your throat.
  • Follow the elixer down into your center.
  • Retain this breath in your navel center while focusing on love pulsing in the center of your being (hold as long as is comfortable)
  • Release the breath. Breath normally until you are ready for another retention cycle.
While breathing normally, focus in your heart or navel center which ever feels right for you.
Continue to focus your awareness on the feeling of love, in which ever center you choose.
Every step in this practice is gentle, sweet, tender and not forced.
The two areas that usually cause the most discomfort and tension are taking in too much air or holding too long.
If you wish you can hold mulbandh as long as you do the practice. If you find holding the root lock causes tension don't use it to begin. Wait until you are completely comfortable with the practice then try it again.

This meditation created by my dear friend Norwood Yamini

who continues teach all those around him the truth & power of love.
